Depth measurement with ease
Depth measurement: DMScheck CIL-Z augmented by a depth gauge with micron resolution and a RS232 interface - the fast and simple way to measure along the Z axis.
Application: On printed circuit boards with laser drill holes.
The ideal tool for depth measurements. For non-contact measurement of the depth of drill holes, the digital gauge measures the distance between two focusing planes. To keep the depth of field, a potential source of error, shallow, measurement should be carried out at the highest magnification in relation to the desired field of view.
For this reason, the measurement system is supplied with all objectives available.
The practically no-play coaxial travel permits exact setting of the fine focusing planes. Essential for an optimum measuring result: make sure you always focus the upper and lower fine focusing planes from the same side. This ensures that no inaccuracy in the measurement occurs due to slight play when reversing. And here the coaxial illumination directly through the objective plays an important role.
Because only thanks to this path of light can the fine focusing planes be seen exactly. For depth measurement tasks, too, the DMS-MSG stand provides the stability you need. The CCD camera image can be further processed on the computer with the aid of our DMS Plus Z-Value measurement software DMS Plus Z-Value.
The depth values measured can be entered in the image by means of the labelling function and then saved for documentation purposes.
